Mission

The mission of EWB-SOM, as stated in the information provided earlier, is to improve the capacity of under-served communities in Somalia through innovative construction projects. EWB-SOM aims to provide a wide range of construction services, from smaller renovations to mega projects, with a focus on building education facilities, health care centers, industrial facilities, residential buildings, hotels and resorts, and telecommunications, as well as water projects and alternative energies such as solar and wind.

EWB-SOM also intends to contribute to meeting the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) number one and seven, which involve eradicating poverty and hunger by building feeding roads and markets in agricultural areas, constructing water points for livestock, and building and renovating schools and learning centers for under-served and marginalized communities.

Overall, the mission of EWB-SOM is to make a positive impact on the lives of under-served communities in Somalia by providing them with essential infrastructure and resources that can improve their quality of life, create opportunities for economic growth, and help them achieve sustainable development.
